Installation Instructions: NOTE: If you have any previous versions of Floor Framing on your computer (this does not include the previous Microsoft Excel versions), remove the program by going to the 'Control Panel' and using 'Add or Remove Programs'. Download the zipped file, Floor Framing.zip from the AISC website, choose 'Save' and select a location on your computer. Locate the file called Floor Framing.zip and unzip the contents to a temporary file. Locate the file FloorFraming_V13_1.msi in the temporary file and double click it to run the installation. The setup program should begin. Follow the instructions to install the program. By default the program is installed in \\Program File\SteelTools\FloorFraming_V13. Double click the FloorFraming_V13.exe file to run the program. You can create a shortcut for the program by right clicking and selecting 'Create Shortcut' Two components are required to install and run Floor Framing, Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package (x86) and Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 2.8 SP1. The installation program will notify you if these componenets are not present on your system and guide you to the web to find the components. Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1 Redistributable Package (x86) can be found at: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=A8F5654F-088E-40B2-BBDB-A83353618B38&displaylang=en (Version 1.1 can be installed on a computer that already has Version 2.0. In Version 13.0 when the beam depth restrictions were changed, they were automatically reset back to the defults.
