Northridge: The Dilemma of Changing Codes Following a Catastrophic Event [H2]

The 1993 Northridge earthquake presented the steel industry and structural engineers with new challenges and opportunities to improve codes--and raised a number of questions.

  • How did the US response to the Northridge earthquake differ from Japan's response to the 1995 Kobe earthquake?

We'll answer these questions and more!
